Key Responsibilities:

  • A current nationally accredited Group Exercise Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

  • Strong ability to confidently pre-cue, demonstrate excellent technique, and coach participants of varying skill levels.
  • Deep understanding of corrective coaching and the ability to effectively communicate it to participants.

About the Position: 

We are looking for a skilled Har-Tru Tennis Court Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as line repairs, replacing windscreens/nets, irrigation repair and grounds keeping. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and the up keep of 9 Har-Tru tennis courts, 2 hard courts, 2 indoor and 6 pickleball courts at our racquets facilities. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.

This is a part time position of 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within operation of the Tennis and Pickleball courts.
  • Responsible for any daily upkeep duties such as repair to the courts, blowing leaves from courts, drying tables and benches.
  • Roll, Sweep, water, and brush the lines of the Har-Tru courts regularly.
  • Repair and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water supply
  • Replace clay court materials as needed
  • Ensure wind screens are in good condition and maintain as needed.
  • Control weeds and maintain a weed-free environment
  • Manage trash and maintains cleanliness and appearance of areas of the facility.
  • Cart cleaning and maintenance.
  • Identifies and reports needed supplies to Director of Racquet Sports.


  • Proven experience in tennis/pickleball court maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of irrigation system
  • Knowledge of Har-Tru or clay tennis courts is highly desirable

Housekeeper Responsibilities

  • Duties shall include but not be limited to:
  • Cleans and maintains 2 Clubhouses
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors; sweeps and vacuums rugs and baseboards; shampoos and spot clean carpets.
  • Dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork.
  • Empties, cleans and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash.
  • Washes doors, windows, walls, ceilings, venetian blinds and furniture.
  • Polishes metalwork.
  • Cleans, disinfects, and stocks restrooms.
  • Requisitions supplies and notifies supervisor of expected shortages in a timely manner.
  • Reports repair and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Cleans lighting fixtures and replaces light bulbs.
  • Closes windows, turns off lights and locks doors to secure buildings.
  • Maintains and keeps equipment and materials in proper condition.
  • Picks up paper and sweeps and washes areas around buildings and facilities.
  • Observes safe working practices. Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards. Follows label instructions to mix and dilute cleaners, disinfectant and stripping agents to ensure proper strength for use.
  • May assist other maintenance personnel in maintaining buildings and fixtures.
  • Moves furniture as necessary.
  • Observes all Club safety practices and protocols.
  • Performs other duties as designated by the Director of Facilities.

Physical Demands
