Sarah is a seasoned Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach with over 10 years of experience. She has trained under renowned Weightlifting Coaches such as Don McCauley, Glenn Pendlay, and Leo Totten. Sarah has worked with a range of clients from advanced athletes to beginners and has developed a keen interest in weightlifting and weight loss for peri-menopause and menopausal women. Her clients have a proven track record of successful weight loss and life-changing transformations. Sarah also is skilled in developing strength and Olympic lifting techniques in beginner and novice athletes.
Sarah began her college career as a Division One athlete competing in Track and Field at UNC-Charlotte. She later transferred to UNC-Greensboro to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics when her grandmother fell ill and needed care. Sarah's competitive spirit led her to join a CrossFit Gym where she qualified for Regionals on a Team in 2014. She has since made multiple appearances for Team USA in international competitions, winning both Nationals and the American Open in the 49kg Weight Class, and a Gold for Team USA at The Cup Of The Blue Swords. Sarah's passion for fitness continues to inspire her to lift and compete, and she aims to inspire and assist others in doing the same.
Sarah's coaching philosophy is centered around her clients, treating them like family. She believes in taking manageable and realistic steps towards their goals using a holistic approach that includes focusing on essential areas such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, and mobility before addressing more specific changes. Sarah values open communication and understands the importance of listening to her clients and building a long-lasting relationships. Her athlete motto is "from possibility to being," reflecting her belief that with dedication and perseverance, anyone can achieve their fitness goals.
